*SUPERB CONDITION LIGHTWEIGHT 20 GAUGE BOSS SIDELOCK EJECTOR SINGLE TRIGGER GAME SHOTGUN WITH CASE.

SN 9304. (ca 1968) Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 26″ Dovetailed bbls with matted slightly raised flat rib are engraved “Boss & Co” “13/ 14. Cork Street. London. W.1″ on tops. Bbl flats are stamped with London nitro proofs for 2-3/4” chambers. SNs are on bottoms of bbls. Case hardened sidelock action with automatic safety (SAFE inlaid in gold), disc set strikers, gold line tumbler end cocking indicators, and single non-selective Boss trigger, is engraved in Boss house style with rose and scroll. “Boss & Co” is on each lockplate. Trigger plate is engraved with Boss’s single trigger patent number. Small bow, single beaded trigger guard has SN on tang. Nicely marbled and lightly figured European walnut round knob checkered pistol grip buttstock with drop points, and vacant gold oval on bottom, measures 14-5/8″ over checkered wood butt. Matching splinter Boss ejector forend has Anson release. Bore diameter: left -.615, right – .615. Bore restrictions: left – .016 (mod), right – .011 (lt mod). Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .031. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″+. Cast: neutral. Weight: 5 lbs. 11 oz. LOP: 14-5/8″. High quality brown leather VC case with stitched leather corners is lined in burgundy cloth and has paper Boss labels in lid, one a charge card for this particular gun. Case contains a number of Boss marked accessories including 2-pc composition and brass cleaning rod, snap caps, and oil bottle, Also included are three horn handled turnscrews and a horn striker bottle. CONDITION: Excellent, very close to “as new”, with a few very light handling and assembly marks in all finishes. Action beads are silvered a bit. Blue is thinning on trigger guard tang. Rear of safety button is silvered. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Bbls are on face. Ejectors and trigger appear to be fine. Case leather is excellent with some minor rubs and scrapes.
