SN 70088. Cal. .60. Bbl 26 1/2″. Fine condition U.S. WWII M2 60MM mortar w/ carrying strap, bi-pod, base plate and carrying bag. Included sight in carrying case, technical manual and 5 inert rounds. The U.S. 60MM mortar was a company-level support weapon and, depending upon needs of the situation, found its way down to the platoon level. Handy and relatively easy to transport, it was a welcome and versatile part of a soldier’s arsenal. Modern-day historical and recreational collectors find them to be fun items. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4 as a destructive device. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish very fine. Green painted finish on tube w/ orig finish on bi-pod and base plate.
