*EXTREMELY RARE WEBLEY & SCOTT NO 2 MK I ROYAL HORSE ARTILLERY SEMI-AUTO PISTOL DATED 1915.SN 7002. Cal. .445 Webley Auto. Bbl is 5″. Extremely rare Webley & Scott LTD self-loading .455 Mark I No 2 pistol with British proofs throughout. Dated 1915 on slide with numerous date and British nitro proofs on chamber, top of slide and on frame. The Webley & Scott auto-loading pistols all exhibit the highest levels of fit and finish of old-world, early 20th century quality. Lanyard ring present at bottom of frame, which is slotted for shoulder stock. 1 orig magazine is included. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish very fine to extremely fine as arsenal refinished with some slight wear at high edges with extremely clear markings. Right grip panel has a small chip out at rear heel, with a couple of damaged diamonds to the hard brown Bakelite. Mechanics are crisp, bore is very fine, bright and brilliant.
