*28 GAUGE LUCIANO BOSIS ROUND BODIED BOXLOCK “COUNTRY” SIDE BY SIDE EJECTOR SHOTGUN WITH SUPERB BULINO GAME SCENE AND DRAMATIC SMALL SCROLL WITH CASE.

SN 623. Cal. 28 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 29″ Chopper lump bbls are engraved “LUCIANO BOSIS. BRESCIA. MADE IN ITALY” on narrow swamped game rib. Bbl flats are stamped with 2013 Italian nitro proofs and engraved with makers name, SN, and importer (BSA). Round bodied arched back coin finished boxlock action features non-automatic safety and double triggers (front articulated). Action is engraved with 90% coverage beautifully cut and shaded varying sized scroll. On trigger plate this scroll flanks truly exceptional, almost photographic, scene of three pintails rising from bulrushes into dramatic cloudy sky. “LUCIANO BOSIS” is above this scene. Engravers signature “GM” ? is on trigger plate. Trigger guard with more superb scroll has SN on tang. Striking almost black marbled flesh-toned burl figured European walnut straight grip buttstock with point pattern checkering on diamond hand measures 15-1/8″ over skip line checkered wood butt. Long splinter ejector forend has Anson release. Bore diameter: left -.550, right – .550. Bore restrictions: left – .045 (full), right – .045 (full). Drop at heel: 2-1/16″, drop at comb: 1-5/16″. Cast: neutral. Weight: 5 lbs. 2 oz. LOP: 15-1/8″. High quality leather case with stitched leather corners is lined in burgundy cloth with Bosis label in lid, and contains 2-pc cleaning rod with mop, brush, and jag, and a pair of Bosis marked snap caps. Case is accompanied by green canvas and tan leather outer cover. CONDITION: Essentially as new, appears unfired since proof, with only the faintest of handling and assembly marks in all surfaces. Mechanically crisp. Case is excellent, as protected by its outer cover. Interior is excellent.
