SN 485479. Cal. 12 ga. 19-15/16″ bbl. Standard markings with “US” and ordnance bomb on bbl and receiver. Receiver marked “MILITARY FINISH”. “FJA” cartouche on left side of plain stock. Original buttplate. Matching numbers on bbl and receiver. “CYL” marked bbl. Bead front sight. Bbl has been shortened from a longer length. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Fine with a majority of original finish. Some areas of minor surface rust. All markings are clear. Wood is fine with light handling marks. Bore is dirty with some rust towards muzzle.
