REPLICA OF COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY SHERIFF’S MODEL REVOLVER WITH ONE-PIECE BURL GRIP.SN 77645. Cal. 45 LC. 2-1/2″ bbl. Full nickel finish with one-piece burl walnut grip. Bbl shows two-line Colt address rolled on left side. Top of bbl shows index mark. Frame has 3-line Colt patent mark on forward left side. “45CAL” is struck on left front trigger guard bow. Assembly number “33” appears on rear face of loading gate. Left rear face of frame shows “U”. Cyl is not marked. Tool path marks show modern production. This is a faithful replica of a Colt sheriff’s model revolver, probably made by Tom Haas, Sr of Spencer, Indiana. This cataloger owns one. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Revolver shows almost all of the nickel finish overall. All markings are sharp and clear. SN matches on frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Grip retains most of the varnish finish with only some small handling marks.
