FACTORY ENGRAVED REMINGTON-RIDER MAGAZINE PISTOL WITH 2-PC ROSEWOOD GRIPS.SN NA. Cal. 32 RF. 3″ bbl. Full nickel finish. Two-piece rosewood grips. Top bbl flat shows Remington address and Rider’s patent mark in two lines. Pistol is otherwise unmarked except for some hash marks on inside of both grips. Bbl has walking punch engraving on the upper flats. Side flats show punch dot engraving with scalloped borders. Frame shows scroll engraving with a fine punch dot background and punch dot/line accent with a rope border. A star is engraved on the top flat in front of hammer. Backstrap shows scroll accent with punch dot line border. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Fine. Pistol retains nearly all of the original finish with some loss at the muzzle. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Hammer shows considerable fire blue on the back. Grips retain considerable varnish finish with high point wear and small handling marks overall. Mechanics are crisp.
