SN 18870. Cal. 41 RF. 2-1/2″ bbl. Full nickel finish with 2-pc walnut grips. Top of bbl shows “COLT”. SN is struck on left inside of grip frame. SN is also written in ink inside left grip. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl shows nearly all of the original nickel finish with some very slight flaking at the muzzle. Bore is bright with visible rifling and some staining. Frame retains nearly all of the somewhat frosty nickel finish. Screws show traces of blue finish. Hammer shows hints of case color. Trigger shows hints of blue. Mechanics are crisp. Grips retain nearly all of the varnish finish with only minuscule handling marks overall. A nice example of a late production Colt Thuer Deringer. 53094-40 TEP (750-1,000) – Lot 2254
