SHARPS & HANKINS 4-BARREL PEPPERBOX MODEL 3D PISTOL.

SN 6325. Cal. 32 RF. 3-1/2″ bbl, blue and case color finish, 2-pc checkered gutta percha grips. SN is stamped on butt of frame and bottom of bbl cluster. Top bbl rib is marked “ADDRESS SHARPS & HANKINS, PHILADELPHIA PENN.” Right side of frame is marked “C SHARPS PATENT / JAN 25 1859”. Rotating firing pin is mounted in the frame. Shell extractor is mounted vertically between bbl grooves at breech. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl cluster retains 98% orig bright blue finish. Markings are sharp. Bores are frosty with visible rifling. Frame retains 30% case color overall that is vivid on right side with balance blending to a silver/grey patina. Markings are sharp. Grips are fine, intact with sharp checkering. Mechanics are crisp.
