SN 10591. Cal. 32 Extra Short RF. 2-1/2″ diameter nickel finished case with elephant ivory sideplate covers. Sideplates are marked “CHICAGO FIRE ARMS CO / CHICAGO, IL” and “THE PROTECTOR PAT. MCH. 8 83, AUG. 29 93”. Case has 3 raised finger rests with release for 6-shot revolving circular cyl. Trigger has elephant ivory thumb rest. 1-3/4″ rifled bbl. Frame edges and bbl have floral and knurled bordering designs. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Extremely fine overall. Gun appears orig and matching with SNs found cyl, sideplate and frame. Over 95% plus nickel finish with minor cosmetic scratches, small dings and small areas of staining and light pitting. One sideplate cover has pitting and traces of nickel. Mechanics are fine.
