Sideplates are marked “CHICAGO FIRE ARMS CO / CHICAGO, IL” and “THE PROTECTOR PAT. MCH. 8 83, AUG. 29 93”. Case has 3 raised finger rests with release for 6-shot revolving circular cyl. Trigger has elephant ivory thumb rest. 1-3/4″ rifled bbl. Frame edges and bbl have floral and knurled bordering designs. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Extremely fine overall. Gun appears orig and matching with SNs found cyl, sideplate and frame. Over 95% plus nickel finish with minor cosmetic scratches, small dings and small areas of staining and light pitting. One sideplate cover has pitting and traces of nickel. Mechanics are fine. Crisp bright bore.
