1) Winchester black leatherette box marked on lid in gold lettering “WINCHESTER / MID-RANGE / VERNIER / AND / WIND GAUGE / SIGHTS”. Box contains a Winchester mid-range tang peep sight with mount and mounting screws. Box also contains a globe spirit level front sight with three apertures and a German silver blade front sight. 2) Black leatherette box labeled on top in gold letters “WINCHESTER / VERNIER / AND / WIND GAUGE / SIGHTS”. Box contains two sight mounting screws, a front sight aperture and a German silver blade front sight. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: 1) Fine. Sights are very fine and show almost all orig blue finish. Box lining of black velvet is also very fine. 2) Box is good with visible label. Box is missing portions of black leatherette cover with crazing to rest of finish. Sight and screws are fine showing most of their orig blue.
