PATENT DRAWING FOR MODEL 1873 WINCHESTER RIFLE 22 & 32 CALIBER, ALONG WITH WINCHESTER ADVERTISING BROADSIDE.

1) Patent drawing is number 2581, dated April 4, 1889. Drawing shows mechanism and changes made to Model 1873 for adaptation to smaller calibers. 2) Winchester Repeating Arms advertising broadside showing Model 1866 rifle and carbine. Ad references “Improvement on the Celebrated Henry Rifle”…O.F. Winchester is named as President. O.P. Davis is named Secretary”. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: 1) Very good. Drawing is framed and matted. Not examined out of frame. Framing is of professional quality and appears to be archival. 2) Very good. Broadside shows some slight edge tattering and a few small water stains.
