GROUP OF 16 WWII ERA UTILITY AND FIGHTING KNIVES.This group has 9 variations of Marble’s camp and fighting knives, the largest with a 10″ clip-point, stacked leather grip with crown stag pommel in nearly new condition. Another Marble’s knife has 8″ clip-point blade with stag slab grips; other 7 Marble knives have stacked leather grips with aluminum pommels, except for one which appears to be resin, with 4″ to 6″ blades. There are 3 Remington knives, all different. One with 4-1/2″ blade with molded brown plastic grip. The other 2 Remington’s have stag grips; one with large iron pommel. All 3 Remington knives have 4-1/2″ blades retaining much of their orig luster, 2 with Remington marked sheaths; other unmarked. Remainder of lot consists of a 10-1/2″ overall, 6″ blade marked “FA BOWER MP CO” with personalized buck-stitched scabbard; Collins Official Boy Scout hatchet with 5′ blade and 2 “CASE-XX” hatchets; one in the orig box with 5″ clip-point detachable Bowie blade that can be exchanged for hatchet blade. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world.
