SN 1. Cal. 22 Short. 7″ bbl. Exquisite faithful scale model of the classic Gatling gun with Broadwell drum magazine. Executed in brass with steel barrels this functional replica includes a faithfully reproduced date plate. Oscillator on tripod not to scale but is functional as is traverse and elevation gear. Shaft of oscillator mechanism may be engaged or disengaged, however latch spring is weak and it does not stay in the engaged position. External SN visible at rear attachment point. Just a great little detailed miniature. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish very fine to extremely fine with some freckles of corrosion starting to appear on the bbls and some discoloration in a couple of spots at the brass data plate and top of Broadwell drum. Mechanics are fully functional. Bores are very fine with some dust. Wood and brass of tripod in extremely fine condition.
