*EXCEPTIONAL WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN ORIGINAL WINCHESTER CARDBOARD SHIPPING BOX.

SN 87159. Cal. 22 RF. 24″ rnd bbl, full blue finish, straight grain American walnut stocks with plain pistol grip, grooved forend and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester address, trademark, model and Cal. designation rolled on left side in front of rear sight. “WP” proof is struck on top of bbl and receiver. Standard sights. SN appears on bottom of receiver adjacent to same number stamped on trigger guard. Accompanying box has craft paper, instruction booklet and end label showing SN of this rifle. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine. Rifle retains nearly all of the orig blue. Bbl shows minor scratches on magazine tube from operation. Receiver is fine. Stocks show some minuscule scratches and dents on buttstock and forearm. Rifle was not assembled. Box is very good with some scotch tape repair to lid and some fraying of end label. Label mark is clear with clear SN.
