SN 651990. Cal. 22 LR. 20″ rnd bbl, 7/8 magazine, full blue finish, straight grain American walnut stock with plain pistol grip. Forearm is of the expert design and is smooth with swells at both ends. Bbl shows Winchester address and model rolled on left side in front of rear sight; Cal. marked is rolled alongside of rear sight. “WP” proof is struck on top of bbl and receiver. Sights are standard for this model. SN appears on forward bottom part of frame and on lower tang. Box contains brass cleaning rod with pine partitions and craft paper lining. End labels describe this particular rifle. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Rifle is nearly new in box. There is a slight mar on bbl under front sight. Receiver has a small ding on right side by takedown screw. All markings are sharp. Rifle was not assembled.
