*VERY FINE SPRINGFIELD 1903 MARK I .30-06 RIFLE.

SN 1108756. Cal. 30-06. 24″ bbl. Standard markings on gun. 10-19 bbl date. Factory cutout on left side of receiver for Pederson device. Finger groove two bolt stock with “W.J.S.” cartouche on left side. Circle P firing proof behind trigger guard. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine with a majority of finish, worn most noticeably on either side of front sight band and other smaller areas. All markings are clear and crisp. Finish worn off bolt. Appears to have some sort of preservative coating on floorplate, rear sight collar, front band and bbl. Wood is fine with light dings and handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling.
