*RARE & UNUSUAL REMINGTON MODEL 1903 WWII CUTAWAY .30-06 RIFLE.NSN. Cal. .30-06. 24″ bbl. This gun was made without markings on receiver. Quite possibly factory made as a cutaway due to manufacturing flaw on top of receiver. 3-42 dated Remington bbl. Proper “R” marking for Remington on small parts. Cutaway on both left and right sides of gun. Circle P proof on stock behind trigger guard. No government inspectors’ cartouche on left side of stock. Cleaning kit in butt. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine with minor handling marks. Markings are clear.
