Ten identical consecutively numbered Browning made Model 71 Carbines reissued These are a faithful reissue of the orig Winchester Model 71 patented by John M. Browning. Factory blue finish with nicely figured walnut 2pc stocks mounted with checkered steel buttplate. Made with the traditional hooded blade front sight and buckhorn rear elevator sight. It is unknown how many of these 10 gun consecutively numbered cases were produced or sold. However, it is the first ever observed by this cataloger personally. Housed in a pine factory monogrammed 10 gun shipping crate with a clear lexan cover so rifles can be viewed from the outside and comes on an oak display stand that is approx 7″ tall. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world.
