COLLECTOR’S LOT OF 4 BOXES OF CIVIL WAR CARBINE AND PISTOL AMMUNITION.

Box 1 42 rnds for the Spencer .50 Cal Model 1865 carbine, manufactured by the Sage Ammunition Works. Box 2 a 42-rnd box of metalic cartridges for the Spencer & Joslyn carbine No. 56 Navy and infantry size,manufactured by the Crittenden & Tibbals Manufacturing Co. Box 3 10-rnd box for the Maynard breach-loading carbine Cal. .50-100, manufactured by the B.C. English Co. Box 4 1 10-rnd box of Remington Army pistol ammunition Cal.50 loaded at Frankford Arsenal, 1872. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Boxes 1 and 2 are exceptionally fine w/bold, legible labels. Boxes are in exceptionally fine condition w/solid corners and showing no abuse. Box 3 is still sealed w/strong corners and vivid label w/minor dent in center of box visible in picture. Box 4 strong legible label, however top is loose and has been opened.
