The rare arched label Winchester box of 44 Henry Flat w/the listing of Stetsons patent Oct. 31, 1871 for the Winchester rifle Model 1866 is extremely rare to find in any condition, much less to be found complete w/a fine top label. Included w/this lot is a rare box of Winchester 44-100 (Henry) w/full label, w/evidence of an early repair, using white medical tape. However, label is outstanding. The third box is the last of the Winchester green label boxes, circa 1920-1930. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very fine, strong legible labels. Arched Stetson patent box missing right side flap. Late Winchester 44 box is still sealed w/perfect label.
