Box 1 is the rare 44 Henry 50-rnd box w/green label w/the rare pointed ball bullet.Unlike the traditional flat-tipped bullet, this rare box of ammunition was offered w/pointed bullets. Nobody has ever figured out why these were offered, This was traditionally only done in the military variation and not carried over to the civilian cartridges. Box 2 is the Winchester 44 rimfire long 50-rnd box w/green label w/Stetson’s patent. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good overall, w/minor clear tape repair to several corners on the pointed ball box.
