SPECTACULAR SILVER MOUNTED PARADE SADDLE WITH MARTINGALE AND MATCHING SPURS MADE BY KEYSTON BROS, SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA.Saddle is of a deep russet brown color, floral tooled overall with a black stippled background. Saddle is mounted with sterling silver on pommel, swell, cantle, skirts, fenders and tapaderos. Silver conchos with a gold horse head appear on pommel, skirt, martingale, spurs and tapaderos. Rear of the saddle has the initials “M.J.K.”. Tapaderos are very large and have a seldom seen silver capped toe. Saddle has sheepskin lining and a braided cinch. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Saddle shows very little wear and is in very good condition. Sheepskin liner is intact and shows very little sweat stain.
