BEAUTIFUL SILVER MOUNTED SADDLE WITH MATCHING MARTINGALE BRIDLE AND BIT MADE BY EDWARD H. BOHLIN, INC. OF HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA.

Saddle is floral tooled overall with a black punch dot background. Tooling is bordered with silver conchos. Fenders also are bordered by conchos. Pommel, saddle swells and seat back are silver capped. Initials “CDC” are found in gold on back of seat. Bridle is decorated with conchos overall with 3 strung between upper and lower strap. Center conchos have horse head decoration. Horse head decorations also appear on martingale which has silver conchos decorations overall. Bit is engraved with concho decorations on the cheek. Bit has no spade. Reins are attached and are banded with silver. Saddle is lined with sheepskin and stirrups are open. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good. Saddle shows use but no abuse. Silver is intact with no missing pieces. Lining shows some wear and sweat stains. This saddle would come to life with a careful cleaning. 53091-239 TEP (8,000-12,000) – Lot 2130
