FANTASTIC TIFFANY PRESENTATION SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR TROPHY TO MAJOR GENERAL HENRY CLARK CORBIN, ADJUTANT GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY.Beautiful Tiffany 3-handled cup, 10-1/2″ tall, weighing 50 troy ounces, with three large panels. First, large vignette engraved in relief of General Corbin. Second, new rendition of the newly adopted 1902 Great Seal of the United States. And lastly, 12-line relief presentation: “TO MAJOR GENERAL / HENRY CLARK CORBIN / ADJUTANT GENERAL / OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY / WITH THE ESTEEM AND CONGRATULATIONS / OF HIS FRIENDS / ADJUTANTS – GENERAL OF / THE STATES OF THE UNION / DURING AND SINCE THE / SPANISH AMERICAN WAR / NOVEMBER 6, 1901”. Base is engraved with three patriotic shields and three panoply of arms representing each branch of service: Cavalry, Artillery and Infantry.
