SN 8153K. Cal. 9mm. 7-7/8″ bbl. DWM marking on toggle. Military proof marks and chamber date removed during refurbish for commercial market. SN only appears on front of frame, takedown lever and trigger. Germany export stamp on right side of frame. It is believed that this gun was refurbished and sold on the commercial market in America by either Stoeger, VL&D or some other retailer. Accompanying this gun is an original, but non matching shoulder stock board with leather holster attached. Missing boot from bottom of attaching leather. Date inside of holster is not legible. Leather shoulder strap. Cleaning rod in pouch on side. Three wood bottom mags total. “1916” dated leather spare mag pouch; missing closure strap. CONDITION: Very fine as refurbished with finish wear on high points. Remaining markings clear. Grips are very good showing wear. Bore is worn with strong rifling. Mechanics are functional. Wood stock is solid showing age with handling marks. Leather holster is worn with scuff marks; tear on closure strap. Leather piece from front of flap that strap passes through is missing. Stitching has pulled through on tool pouch. Leather is pliable but also 100 years old. Mags are good with surface rust and staining to bodies.
