SN S962415. Cal. .38. 2″ pinned bbl. Standard markings. 5 screw. Matching full SN on rear of cyl. Proper diamond wood grips. Number stamped in side of right grip, not matching. Based on SN charts this gun was made in 1948. Accompanied by proper gold picture box. Box appears to be unnumbered. Re-enforced metal corners. CONDITION: Extremely fine with slight drag mark around cyl. Light handling marks. All markings are crisp and clear. Good case colors on hammer and trigger. Grips are very fine with sharp checkering. Bore is excellent. Box is solid with scuff marks and a large rectangular sticker on the left end of the lid. 53080-64 GER (600-1,000) C&R – Lot 3044
