*HIGHLY DESIRABLE WINCHESTER MODEL 62 “SPECIAL” SLIDE ACTION RIFLE IN ORIGINAL WINCHESTER CARDBOARD SHIPPING BOX.

SN 388432. Cal. 22 SHORT. 23″ rnd bbl, 3/4 magazine, full blue finish, straight grain American walnut stocks with grooved forearm and hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Bbl shows Winchester address, trademark, model and Cal. designation rolled on left side by rear sight. “WP” proof is struck on top of bbl and receiver. Receiver is marked “WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK” in red letters on right side. SN is struck on forward bottom part of receiver and on lower tang. Numbers match. Box contains instruction sheet and Winchester hang tag. End label is numbered to this gun and is marked “SPECIAL”. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Rifle retains 99.999% of orig blue finish. Operating arm shows a slight scratch. Receiver still has packing grease. All markings are sharp and clear. Rifle was not assembled. Stocks show no apparent handling marks. Box is very good, intact.
