*EXCEPTIONAL PRE-WAR WINCHESTER MODEL 61 WITH OCT BBL AND TANG SIGHT.

SN 13618. Cal. .22LR. 24″ oct bbl marked “22 LONG R.” Very rich pre-war blue finish with 2pc walnut stocks with 11-groove forearm and checkered steel buttplate. Rifle is equipped with proper Winchester front and rear sights as well as the appropriate Marbles adjustable tang sight. Mfg in 1936. CONDITION: Very fine overall with all metal components retaining virtually all of their factory finishes with slight finish loss at muzzle and traditional finish loss on mag tube and bbl from pump operation. 2pc wood stocks have, at some previous time, had an application of additional finish and possibly been lightly sanded prior.
