SN G1700000. Cal. .243 Winchester. 22″ Featherweight bbl, standard action. Action, bottom metal, and parts of bbl are fully engraved with exceptionally well cut large open acanthus scroll with gold inlaid band highlights. “WINCHESTER” is in gold on side of action, portrait of large white tail deer is on floorplate. Bolt knob is deeply carved in acanthus pattern. Nicely figured American walnut stock has “B” type carving with fleur-di-lis in fancy bordered checkering pattern, measures 14″ over leather covered pad. Leupold Vari X III 3.5 X 10 scope is in Control rings and bases. CONDITION: Excellent, close to new with a few slight handling marks. Coin finish beginning to darken on floorplate.
