Bbls retain approximately 97% orig blued finish with a small area of loss ahead of forearm on left tube. Buttstock & forearm retain nearly all of an expert factory quality finish. Buttplate has toned, screws still show some orig case color. Forearm with very minor grain separation at knuckle which could easily be made invisible. Action retains approximately 95% bold orig case color with high point edge wear, and thinning on fences and bottom of action. Trigger plate and sides of action are bold and vivid and this gun could easily be used as a benchmark gun for factory orig case colors. Trigger guard has been restored long ago and retains nearly all of its proper blue. This is an extremely rare Parker and the Parker story indicates only four 16 gauge DHE’s made with orig 24″ bbls. It is very likely this is the only one in this configuration with the options noted.
