*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 94 SHORT RIFLE.SN 1218217. Cal. 30 WCF. 20″ oct bbl, full magazine. Redfield front sight; sporting rear sight. Full blue finish. Straight grain American walnut stocks. Bbl shows Winchester Model and Cal. designation rolled on left flat in front of rear sight. Front sight is marked “REDFIELD” rear sight is marked “PAT. FEB. 22-27”. “WP” proofs are stamped at the breech of the bbl and top ring of receiver. Upper tang shows WINCHESTER” over “TRADEMARK” over “MADE IN USA”. SN is stamped on bottom front of receiver. Receiver has been tapped for a receiver sight on left side. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl and magazine tube show an even blue/brown patina overall with some handling marks and high-point wear. Markings are sharp. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 80% blue finish with some staining on left front. Markings are sharp. Hammer and lever also show a considerable amount of blue. Mechanics are crisp. Stocks are very good, full sized and retain most of an old re-varnish finish with handling marks and dents commensurate with age of the rifle. Forend is the correct 8-3/8″ length.
