Matching SN’s on slide, frame and bbl. This gun is described on p. 256, pictured p. 257 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. I by Warren Buxton. Accompanied by brown leather pebble grain flap holster. Holster is dated 1944. Markings are hard to read due to pebble grain. PROVENANCE: The esteemed collection of noted expert and author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with finish wear to front strap, thinning on sides of slide. Light handling marks. All markings clear. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling.
