LARGE FRAME PLANT CUPFIRE REVOLVER. SN 4298. Cal. .42, 5-1/2″ ribbed oct. bbl. Marked “PLANT’S. MFG CO. NEWHAVEN.CT.” on top of the bbl. rib and “MERWIN & BRAY.NEW-YORK.” on the left side of the bbl. The ejector rod and head and cylinder pin assembly are replacements. CONDITION: Strong traces of blue on left side of bbl. 20% tarnished silver on the frame. The rosewood grips are worn and chipped on the bottom but retain about 75% of the varnish. Mechanically good. 4-46417 FS193 (500-800)
