1940 DATED 3RD REICH PHOTO COMPENDIUM OF WARTIME, POLITICAL AND COMBAT EVENTS.

Faux leather bound photo album dated 1940 and titled in German Big Germany in World Events comprising of a 12-month chronological history of events from January through December of that year. With nearly 300 4×6″ b/w photographs depicting everything from everyday life under the Reich to notables such as Herman Goring, Adolf Hitler, Mussolini among others including pictures of the capture of Paris, sinking of numerous allied vessels, aerial combat photographs. Documented in great detail in German depicting the everyday life of WWII era of German civilians and military personnel. A unique treasure trove for the student and/or collector of this particular genre. CONDITION: Good overall with slight edge wear to all corners and spine. No water damage or staining is evident, however rice paper partitions are damaged and/or not present throughout.
