Standard blued action with blued single selective trigger, is engraved in 21-3 style with sprays of scroll and simple game scene of flying duck on trigger plate, and another duck on trigger guard bow. Crotch figured American walnut steel capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14″ over Winchester pad. Matching beavertail forend has reinforcing brace. Bore diameter: left -.615, right – .616. Bore restrictions: left – .028 (full), right – .027 (mod). Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Cast: neutral. Weight: 7 lbs. 1 oz. LOP: 14″. PROVENANCE: Bill Trotter collection. CONDITION: Excellent, as completely refinished, to near new, with only some light subsequent marks. Wood has oil refinish, checkering re-cut. Bores are excellent.
