1) NATL POSTAL METOR M1 CARBINE. SN 4217882. Cal. .30. 18″ bbl. Made by National Postal Meter. Standard markings. Underwood bbl. Mixture of parts as arsenal refurbished for post WWII issue. M2 stock “RA” cartouche on right side. Matching SN to receiver stamped in left side of stock. Adjustable rear sight & bayonet lug. “KADIN/1943″ marked dual magazine pouch slipped over stock. USGI 15 rnd mag. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner collection. CONDITION: Good showing finish wear. Bbl date barely visible. Other markings clear. Stock is good with numerous small dings and handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. C&R IMPORT 2) INLAND M1 CARBINE. SN 5153874. Cal. 30. 18” bbl. Inland manufacture. 4-44 dated bbl. “TRIMBLE/ TN” marked inside sling well of stock. “NPM/ FJA” ordnance wheel. Cartouche on right side of stock. M1 stock. This gun is an arsenal overhaul with a mixture of parts. Adjustable rear sight, bayonet lug. Standard USGI 15 rnd mag. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner collection. CONDITION: Very good as arsenal refurbished. Markings are clear. Minor pitting under finish on top of bbl under handguard. Stock is fine with minor handling marks.
