1861 dated Ames Model 1860 cutlass with full leather grip, riveted leather scabbard and leather frog. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. 26″ blade dated “1861” with full discernible “AMES CHICOPEE MASS” markings and a rack number of “24”. Scabbard with rack number “3/26” is complete, though has weak area with hole near center. Attached frog is scuffed, missing much of its orig finish, with matching rack number to scabbard. 52865-54 JS (500-700) – Lot 3104
