UNWIN & ROGERS KNIFE/PISTOL AND SHEFFIELD CIVIL WAR ERA FOLDING KNIFE.NSN. 1) Cal. 30. Unwin & Rogers knife/pistol combination with 3-1/2″ German silver percussion oct bbl with British proofs. 3-1/2″ and 2-1/2″ blades are both marked “UNWIN / ROGERS / HUNTING KNIFE”. Slab grips are horn, trap and butt for caps and balls. Tiny scissor mold attached to left grip, missing tweezers on the right. 2) Sheffield folder with 4″ blade, 8-3/4″ overall. Floral German silver solder filled pommel and crossguard, blank escutcheon on one stag grip. CONDITION: 1) Good to very good overall. Markings are mostly discernible on blades which are overall grey with scattered staining and pitting. Mechanics need attention. 2) Good to very good overall. Blade is worn and cleaned, lock is not sound. Makers mark partially discernible. Pommel and crossguard worn. Slab solid. 52865-13 JS (1,500-2,500) – Lot 3054
