This large example with multiple rows of varied polychrome shellwork. The inner rows of drapery design set with shellwork of three petal flower heads. The central oval with geometric triangles and arrows around a large pink and pale turquoise blue flower. The whole housed in a deep molded walnut frame of the period. The valentine mounted under glass. SIZE: Shellwork 23″ h x 19″ w. Overall: 26-1/2″ h x 22-1/2″ w. CONDITION: The shells retain vibrant color with no loose, damaged or restored areas.
