*VERY FINE FAUX SPRINGFIELD 1903 USMC .30-06 SNIPER RIFLE.

SN 1263061. Cal. .30-06. 24″ bbl. Standard markings on gun. “U.S.M.C.” over “9/43” over “S” in circle Sedgley marking. There is no Hatcher port on left side of receiver. Small gas hole on right side of receiver. Case hardened rear scope block, blued front scope block. Only marking on full C-stock is an “S” over “5” in mag cutoff cutout. Hand guard has been modified for scope block. Hoyt 1918/J.J.M. leather sling. Mounted on gun is a Lyman Super Targetspot late production scope with proper “USMC PROPERTY” marking. CONDITION: Very fine. All markings clear. Wood is fine with minor handling marks. Bore is dirty with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. Scope body retains most of the finish with clear markings.
