COLLECTION OF 3 CIVIL WAR IVORY GRIPPED REVOLVERS.

SN 18426/1355/3058. Cal. 28. This group consists of of a Warner pocket pistol with “1857” patented cylinder with well fit factory ivory grips, 3″ bbl. There is a silver plated and engraved Moore 6-shot revolver with “JAN 5, 1864” patented cylinder with factory ivory grips. Last gun in this lot is a 7mm Lefaucheaux revolver with polished bone grips made to emulate ivory. Accompanied by Mr. Ballard’s hand drawn display cards. PROVENANCE: Lifetime collection of Roger Ballard. CONDITION: Guns are very good to fine overall. The Warner is mottled grey overall with well fit and well patinaed ivory, fine mechanics and bright crisp bore. The Moore retains 30-40% orig silver plate on bbl, cylinder and frame with balance silver/grey with pitting. Right grip has large chip repair. Mechanics are fine with bright crisp bore. Lefaucheaux is cleaned, bright with scattered areas of staining and pitting. Well fit orig grips. Mechanics need attention, though function is fine intermittently, clean crisp bore.
