SN S55162. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 26″ Bbls with raised single sighting plane rib, have all correct markings. Twin ivory beads. Case hardened featherweight action with non-automatic safety and “Hunter One” trigger, is engraved in unique skeet special style, with a flying grouse in acanthus on left lockplate, and a clay target on right. Nicely crotch figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 13-7/8″ over checkered wood butt. Matching later type swept beavertail ejector forend has oval secondary release escutcheon. Bore diameter: left -.727, right – .727. Bore restrictions: left – .008 (skeet), right – .003 (skeet). Wall thickness: left – .040, right – .042. Drop at heel: 2-5/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 7 lbs. 13 oz. LOP: 13-7/8″. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refinished. Bbls retain nearly all of an excellent quality re-black over a few light marks. Action and locks retain 80 – 90% orig case hardening color, thinned on lock tails and around bottom. Stocks retain nearly all of a well done oil refinish over some light marks. Bores are excellent.
