COLLECTOR’S LOT OF FRANCO RUSSIAN WAR SWORDS.1) .36″ overall, 30-1/2″ blade with manufacturers mark on spine and on guard. CONDITION: Very good overall. Brass has been cleaned, now with light mustard patina. Markings all crisp and discernible. Horn grip retains twisted wire wrap, bent quillon. 2) . This is a nice example of an enlisted Model 1881 dragoon saber with various inspector and rack numbers. CONDITION: Very good overall. 33-3/4″ slightly curved blade is bright/grey overall with good markings and orig polishing marks, old sharpening. Accompanying brass mounted wood scabbard retains all of its leather veneer with numerous small scuffs and blemishes. Spiral wood cut grip is scuffed and worn with several small chips.
