PAIR OF IMPERIAL GERMAN OFFICERS SWORDS ONE WITH DAMASCENE BLADE WITH PRESENTATION.1) .Military proofed brass hilted officers sword made by Weyersberg, Kirschbaun in Solingen. Sword has applied imperial cypher insignia to grip. CONDITION: Very good overall. 32″ double fullered blade retains most of its luster with staining. Accompanying steel scabbard has several small dents and areas of staining and rust. Sharkskin grip is sound and complete with wear to high areas. 2) . Standard imperial officers sword with gilted brass hilt with three line presentation commemorating service 1899-1900 as can be seen in photos. Scabbard is painted black with silver buillon portepee. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Hilt still retains strong traces of gilt in protected areas. Blade still shows Damascus designs and presentation lettering retains about half of orig gold highlights. Scabbard is sound.
