*BROWNING SUPERPOSED PIGEON GRADE FIELD SHOTGUN WITH CASE AND FACTORY LETTER.

SN 18647S73. Cal. 12 ga. 26-3/8″ Bbls marked for modified and full chokes, are fitted with matted ventilated rib. Coin finished action is engraved in typical “pigeon” style with pigeons flying through a field of simple scroll on sides. Semi-relief rose bouquets are on bottom. Very well carved oak leaves and acorns are on top. (No signature found.) Long tang square knob nicely figured claro walnut buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over Browning buttplate. Slim forend matches well, but is not figured. Chokes appear to be unaltered. Drop at heel: 2-5/16″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Weight: 7 lbs. 3 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Tan Hartmann case is lined in faux fur and contains two keys. PROVENANCE: Factory letter. CONDITION: Excellent, very close to new, appears essentially unfired, with no discernible halos on breechface, with a few light handling marks. Mechanically crisp. Case is excellent.
