*BROWNING SUPERPOSED “DIANA” GRADE FIELD GUN ENGRAVED BY ANGELO BEE WITH CASE AND FACTORY LETTER.SN 56305S7. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ Bbls marked for mod and full. Coin finished action with gold plated single selective trigger is engraved in typical “Diana” style with scrolling acanthus surrounding semi-relief game scenes; five pheasants on left, four ducks on right, and a pair of grouse on bottom. Two rabbits are on trigger guard bow. Engravers signature “A. Bee” is at the bottom of both action scenes. Nicely crotch figured American walnut long tang round knob buttstock measures 14-1/2″ over black Decelerator pad. Full forend matches well. Chokes are unaltered. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 12 oz. LOP: 14-1/2″. Tan Hartmann case is lined in faux fur, and contains instruction booklet. PROVENANCE: Factory letter confirming specifications. CONDITION: Excellent, with evidence of relatively light field use. Bbls silvered on sharp edges with some scattered light pitting and some marks. Coin finish of action is darkened a bit around bottom. Stocks have some light handling marks in their factory type finish. Bores are excellent with a hint of frosting. Mechanically fine.
