18TH CENTURY COMBINATION FLINTLOCK SWORD/PISTOL ALONG WITH EARLY BRASS AND SILVER POWDER FLASK.

Brass hilted small sword with flintlock pistol mounted under languette. 3-1/4″ cannon muzzle bbl with goose-neck cock mounted in stag sword grip with exposed trigger. Accompanying lot is a 4-1/4″ rnd Islamic design brass powder flask with silver foil inlays on one side. CONDITION: Good to very good overall. Flintlock mechanism is functional. Grip has about 1-1/2″ chip missing adjacent to trigger. Brass has been polished and varnished. 23″ sword blade and flintlock bbl and hardware are grey overall with scattered staining and pitting. Flask is cleaned with light mustard patina. Silver decorations are mostly worn through exposing underlying lead solder. 52632-34 JS (1,500-2,000) – Lot 3427
