NSN. Cal. about 59. 10-1/4″ Damascus oct bbl. Top flat is marked “MARKET HARBORO”. Bbl is fitted with spring loading folding knife with 7″ triangular blade. Thumb operated sliding release is located on top tang. Lock is marked “JACKSON”. Lock hammer, top tang and trigger guard have floral engraving and fancy borders. Plain trigger. Key fastened walnut stock with checkered wrist and lion’s head buttcap. Trigger guard, pineapple finial plate, faceted thimble and sgl pipe are iron. German silver fittings include four key escutcheons and rectangular wrist plate. Brass tipped hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 90% lightly faded brown finish showing small spots of corrosion. Knife blade has good fire blue color. Lockplate has fading case color finish. Trigger guard and other iron fittings retain 70% blue. Sound stock with orig finish shows numerous dents, dings, scratches and handling marks. Mechanics are fine.
