FINE OTTOMON FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS WITH PROFUSE DECORATED STOCKS AND RELIEF CARVED GOLD AND SILVER INLAYS.

NSN. Cal. 1.35″. 30-1/2″ overall, 18-1/2″ heavily swamped blunderbuss flaring to over 1-1/4″ at muzzle. Gun is profusely inlaid throughout its length with silver plaques under gilted pierced inlay. Bbl and lock have extensive silver relief inlay over most of their surface. CONDITION: Fine overall. Bbl and lock retain strong traces of blue and case colors in protected areas. Decorative plaques and piercing appear complete retaining strong traces of gilt in protected areas. Top jaw screw appears to be brass and a later replacement but is a well-made restoration.
